September 29 - October 1, 2006Ram Jam
Moab, Utah
Day 0
This was the 5th annual Ram Jam hosted by RamchargerCentral.Com, and the first Ram Jam to be held in spectacular Moab Utah. Most members arrived in town on Sept. 28th, and we had a casual meeting and fire at the Lion's Park that night.
Day 1
For the first day we ran 7 Mile Rim. We started on an easy trail to help the first timers get used to a little slickrock wheeling. 16 rigs lined up to run the trail.

Day 2
For the second day, we offered 2 trails choices. One "difficult", and one "moderate", or that was the intention anyways. The "difficult" trail group ran Hell's Revenge, and I led 8 rigs to run Kane Creek. Kane Creek was supposed to be the easier trail, but recent storms and floods had severely changed the trail. However we pressed forward and finished the trail, even though we finished in the dark. Trail highlights included winching, strapping, a broken axle shaft, and a lot of rock smashing. But everyone had fun, I think.

Day 3
Again, the group was given the option of a "difficult" and a "moderate" trail. I lead 5 rigs on the "difficult" Golden Spike trail, and the rest of the group did Fins-N-Things.
